Failure is not the opposite of success. It is a part of it.

Do you have a vision? A clear picture of what success means to you? A plan to get there?

Yet, obstacles keep popping up. Maybe you don’t have the confidence you need. Maybe trauma keeps rearing it’s ugly head and knocking you down. Maybe you need to set better boundaries or work on your relationships. Perhaps you could use some financial counseling, your credit needs work, or you would benefit from career coaching.

Whatever obstacles you seem to come across, there are ways to work around, or even work with them. All through our journey, there will be positives and negatives. However, with the right skills, relationships, and mindset, you can ensure success, no matter what comes your way!

If you are driven, but stuck, I would love to work with you to find creative solutions to life’s challenges.

My name is Sam. I am the founder of On the Rock. I have a BA in Psychology and experience as a childcare professional and victim advocate. I also have extensive background in many areas such as recovery, homeless, and disability services. I have volunteered in many organizations that serve marginalized communities, to help with community clean ups, host game nights, teach life skills, and lead support groups. I have a passion for nature, music, art, travel, and hiking. While I naturally incorporate these themes into my work, I am also careful to notice and include others’ interests. Autonomy is extremely important to me, as is human value. I believe every person has a right to choose their own path in life, and that every person has inherent value to the individuals and communities they come in contact with. My goal is to help my clients hone in on their passions and their purpose so they can clearly communicate and efficiently use their interests to connect and to give back, leading to a joyful and fulfilled life.
